The fixed coloumn

This is one of the appropriations I did for my other HSC project for art. It involved replacing the central figure with the companion cube from Half-Life's "Portal" game, in scenes of companionship. This one is the "Broken Coloumn" by Frida Kahlo. The original saw here in braces, with shattered coloumn, representing her spine. I replaced her spine with a coloumn of Companion cubes, a symbol of how our companions can rebuild us, and make us strong again.
